If I dialled your number
If I trembled when hearing your voice
If I whispered my name and a short hello
What would you do?

If I got on the bus
If I rang your door bell
If I said I’ve been missing you
What would you do?

If I poured my heart on a paper
If I put your name on an envelope
If I wrote I still love you
What would you do?

If I phoned your mother
If I invited her for coffee
If I told her I long for you
What would you do?

If I walked down your street
If I kept on passing your house
If I stood there when you walked out
What would you do?

If I looked into your eyes
If I held you hands so gently
If I let you know where my heart is
What would you do?

I guess we’ll never know
That just won’t happen
But at nights I tend to wonder
What would you do?
